Blanche des Neiges is brewed in the Huyghe brewery that was founded in the town of Melles, not far from Brussels, in 1906. Blanches des Neiges translates from French into White as Snow. This unfiltered, wheat beer is fermented with an average alcohol content, during which the orange liqueur Curacao and orange zest is added. In Belgium Blanche des Neiges is considered one of the most refreshing beers, and has become extremely popular. In consumption, this beer would be an ideal accompaniment to light seafood dishes.
