Budweiser Budvar Tmavy
Budweiser Budvar Tmavy is a dark Czech Premium Lager. It is produced exclusively in the Czech town of Ceske Budojovice. In production, water from owned artesian wells with the depth of 300m is used besides the three different types of barley malt: Munich, Caramel and Roasted, as well as Saaz hops. Budweiser Budvar Tmavy has the pleasant aroma of roasted malt, a subtle and slightly bitter taste of caramel, despite not containing caramel. The beer is black in colour. In 2007 it was named the best dark lager of the year at the World Beer Awards.
Budweiser Budvar is the last remaining state owned Czech brewery. Therefore this beer is rightfully called the “National Pride of Czech Republic”
