Franziskaner
Franziskaner Weissbier is a wheat beer of high fermentation ( white beer). Produced from selected ingredients in accordance with “the Bavarian Law of Purity” of 1516. The oldest private brewery in Munich, Franziskaner, takes its name from the nearby monastery, where the monks of the Franziskaner Order lived. Unique difference of the Franziskaner Weissbier is in the culture of beer yeast and very high contents of wheat malt: 75% compared to the usual 50%. Produced in Germany, Munich since 1363 by the Spaten-Fransizkaner Bräu GmbH.
