Grimbergen Double

Grimbergen Abbey was founded in 1128 not far from Brussels’ St. Nobert. The Abbey’s brewery was first mentioned in historical documents in 1660.
Grimbergen Double is a dark ale of double fermentation, which is left to mature in barrels over several months. The use of strong caramelized malt adds tones of creamy toffee, old brandy and hints of cinnamon to the taste of Grimbergen Double. Grimbergen Double is an ideal accompaniment for stews.
