Ichiban Shibori, or 'First Press', is the unique, uncompromising process by which this legendary Japanese beer is made - using only the sweet, flavoursome liquid from a single pressing of the finest ingredients.
Other beers, brewed by less exacting methods, are pressed and repressed. Kirin Ichiban is crisper, richer, purer - because we press once, dispose of what is left and begin again. For us, there is no other way.
